Ms. Boer
Hello there! This is my 12th year teaching. I graduated from UNF with a degree in Elementary Education. I received my Master's in Education, specializing in Reading, from the University of Florida. Go Gators!
My son, Jadon, is in 8th grade; my daughter, Abigail, is in 5th grade. Luke is our dog who thinks he is a cat!
In my spare time, I love to read. My family loves going to Disney. Abigail does competitive cheer, so that keeps us very busy as well.
I can't wait for another wonderful year at Coppergate! I welcome visitors and volunteers, so please let me know if you're interested!

Mrs. Cavins
Greetings! I grew up in the small town of Niceville in the Panhandle of Florida. My mom, dad, and step-father were all teachers; I guess it was meant to be that I would follow in their footsteps! For the last 35 years, I have been teaching in the state of Florida. (Yes! It's really been 35 years!!!!) When Coppergate opened its doors 10 years ago, I was right here ready for the excitement of working in a brand new school. My family has always been supportive of my teaching career. My husband, Curt, grew up in a family of teachers too. We have been married for 23 years. Our daughter, Kylee, is attending UNF to become.... (you guessed it!) a teacher. I am very proud of her. My son, Cooper is 17 and attends Fleming Island High School. He loves sports and science. Coop hopes to be a meteorologist when he grows up and I'm certain he can make that dream come true. I look forward to a wonderful year with you. Please know that I will always look for the best in you and expect the best from you too.

You can send me a note, email me [email protected] or call me at (336-0675 ext.60739). Please feel free to participate in your child’s fourth grade year as much as you are able. Helping hands are always needed.
